Greeted at the desk by a very helpful and likeable gent. Talked us through the menu and gave some great suggestions. Food was very good indeed. Tiger burgers for both of us. My only complaint would be the extreme hot sauce wasn't quite hot enough but it was still epic in terms of flavour. Fries were great and so we're the drinks. 100% recommend and I will certainly be back soon
Cwmbran Store - So I don't like comparing to other brands as it diminishes the setup of a new / different restaurant, But I can only describe Jungle Peri Peri as a cheaper (price) Nandos, The food was good and large portions of sides with the mains, the menu has a good range of options, However the best value is probably going to be the King Kong platters which we had, select your size of chicken, you get two sides, a sizable salad bowl and a drink, this blows away the cost of anything else on the menu. Food was cooked and 24 hours later I'm still alive and wasn't hospitalised so for a chicken place that's pretty good. The heat variations seem reasonable, I had hot and it did give a good amount of heat from the spices, my partner had lemon and herb and also stated it was a lovely flavour. Peri peri chips had a decent coating on them and the garlic bread was decent but not excellent. overall with the ever growing costs of things at the moment I give the meal a 9/10 for the value for money and would go back.
First time eating the very nice food ,we had our meal in the Cwmbran one,don't know why it doesn't come up ,very nice decor and the waiter was pleasant.
Just came from Jungle peri peri, tastiest food I’ve had in a long long time and the staff were some of the friendliest people I have had the pleasure to meet 10/10 will definitely be back
Great variety of food here and it’s actually really good quality. It’s lot your average basic takeaway you can tell they actually care about what they’re providing to the public. Would personally recommend the burgers.
Visited Welcome to the Jungle for the first time and was seriously impressed. The manager (or someone who seemed to be!) greeted us with a big smile, took the time to walk us through the trending menu, and made us feel really welcome. We went for the piri piri chicken, and wow — it was insanely delicious! Packed with flavour, perfectly cooked, and surprisingly affordable for the quality. Definitely a new favourite spot — can’t wait to come back!
